Within 20 hours of harvesting fully ripe cherries, Green Land workers remove floaters and spread handsorted cherries on raised beds for drying. After the cherry is starting to get dark and wrinkled, these beds are covered at night time to prevent dew from entering. After about 14-20 days, moisture content is below 12%. Dry pods are stored in the farm warehouse until buyer is found, then sent to MCG for dry milling, final sorting, and export. Throughout all processing until mixture in the dry mill, daily lots are segregated.
