Washed
The washed processing method involves the careful collection of coffee beans from farmers between the hours of 3pm and 8pm, followed by a thorough check for quality. Subsequently, the beans are pulped using a Penagos eco pulper machine, which utilizes minimal water and eliminates the need for soaking, owing to its mucilage remover. The machine efficiently separates the floaters from the clean beans, which are then soaked overnight to remove any remaining mucilage, before being placed on raised beds. To avoid direct sunlight, the beds are covered between the hours of 12pm and 3pm, and are stirred four times daily for balanced drying. The beans are moved to a warehouse once they reach a moisture level of approximately 11.5%.
