The Pitaya fruit or Dragonfruit, is one of Huila's main grown produce, specially in the south of the department. This lot is comprised of producers that located around Garzón, Huila, who once grew this Pitaya fruit, but found a better future with coffee-growing. Their farms are located between 1,700 and 2,100 m.a.s.l., ideal for specialty coffee cultivation. Coffee Quest began working with Gafrucol to support their high-quality coffee production, resulting in consistent 84+ quality. The group’s “Pitaya” lot is a standout example of their exceptional coffee. Through transparent pricing and collaboration, Coffee Quest ensures fair compensation for farmers while offering services such as quality analysis, feedback, and farm visits.
