Washed
Washed Coffee means that coffee is depulped by a machine, and then the Coffee Bean, engulfed in the mucilage, stays submerged in Water, for about 48 hours. During this time, a partial anaerobic process beginns, whereby bacterial activity consumes the mucilage, leaving the Bean, in its parchment. Once the process if finished, coffee beans are removed and placed on long African Beds for a period of about 15 days.
