Mountain Harvest sourced community parchment rigidly selected through strict quality analysis by our Quality Manager, Nathan Kotaki and his Quality Controller, Emma Amutuhaire. Because of their high standards and training of our field team, Mountain Harvest has quickly become recognized as the best source for high quality consistent farm washed parchment in Uganda. This specific blend of coffee hails from the Makali, Bukalasi, Bushiyi, Sipi, and Buginyana communities of Mount Elgon. The sweet and sugary profiles of the South combine beautifully with the complex acidities of the North for a versatile single origin offering or blender workhorse coffee enjoyed as a filtered coffee or espresso. By coming alongside farmers to produce higher quality community processed parchment, we enable the farmers to still access Mountain Harvest high prices within the timeline of payment farmers are used to while providing financial literacy trainings to teach them to value of selling cherry to companies like ours. Like every product or farmer service we create, it takes time to build trust and educate through demonstration.
