The “Japan Tech Africa Challenge” is a JETRO-led initiative that supports Japanese startups with technologies, products, or services that address social challenges in Africa. Five companies were selected for both the first and second rounds of the program.
Africa Tech Summit Nairobi 2025 highlights technological advancements in Africa. This year, over 1,000 companies participated.
At the event, TYPICA set up a booth and joined two panel discussions over the course of two days. The discussions included dialogue with JETRO and other selected startups on themes such as collaboration between Japanese and African startups.
Ambassador Hiroshi Matsuura of the Embassy of Japan in Kenya also visited TYPICA’s booth, where he was briefed on the company’s business model and activities.
