Indonesia (Asia only)
Dynamic Indonesia
Indonesia is an origin with rich coffee traditions, yet its coffee culture continues to evolve in exciting ways. To experience this dynamism firsthand, this journey starts at World of Coffee Jakarta 2025 and takes participants to visit a diverse range of curators across the country.
Schedule: Arrival on May 17 (Sat), 2025. Departure on May 26 (Mon), 2025
Participation fee: ¥150,000 (Airfare not included)

May 17: Attend World of Coffee Jakarta
May 18: Visit roasters in Jakarta
May 19-22: Visit CATUR
May 23-25: Visit Java Frinsa Estate

Rwanda & Burundi (Asia only)
Touch the Terroir
Rwanda and Burundi are coffee origins filled with hidden potential. Since coffee lots in these origins are formed at washing stations, roasters often have limited opportunities to connect with individual farmers or explore the unique terroirs behind each coffee. This journey provides an in-depth look into the daily lives of producers while also serving as a platform to develop new OKAGESAMA projects (TYPICA’s social impact initiative).
Schedule: Arrival on May 12 (Mon), 2025. Departure on May 20 (Tue), 2025

Colombia
Discover New Colombia
This journey explores the future of Colombia’s coffee industry. Participants will visit facilities that incorporate cutting-edge processing technologies and tour ambitious startup dry mills as they seek opportunities for new projects along the way.

Tanzania
Beyond Long-Term Relationships
Acacia Hills has become a model for producer-roaster collaboration, where both sides grow alongside each other. This journey builds on that foundation and explores new possibilities beyond. Together with fellow roasters, participants will work on creating original lots, organizing an auction, and developing new OKAGESAMA projects (TYPICA’s social impact initiative).

Bolivia & Peru
Deep Dialogue for the Future
From seasoned veterans to the next generation of coffee growers, this journey is an opportunity to engage in deep conversations with direct-trade producers and build relationships that extend beyond coffee. Let’s reconnect with distant friends.
