The program is planned and operated by an experienced team of coffee experts working in unison with TYPICA\u2019s management. It provides a unique initiative that integrates both online and offline elements, aiming not only to support sustainable sourcing but also to strengthen business foundations and co-create long-term value for participating companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In recent years, with global coffee prices on the rise and supply-chain uncertainty increasing, this program is offered exclusively to one leading company per category\u2014roasters, caf\u00e9 chains, beverage manufacturers, household coffee brands, restaurants, hotels, and others whose main business area includes coffee. This was the first public\u2013private collaboration of its kind in the coffee industry and marked a major turning point by presenting a new standard for the global coffee market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/typica.coffee\/ja\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/CS4A7560-1200x800.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15851\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Japan\u2013Brazil Economic Forum (March 26, 2025, Tokyo), where the first-ever public\u2013private memorandum in the coffee industry was announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In June of the same year, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/typica.coffee\/en\/news\/2025-06-13\/\">the model was expanded to Taiwan.<\/a> T<\/span>YPICA has been strengthening partnerships with major coffee companies in Japan and overseas, offering programs that include community building around direct trade, visualization and reduction of GHG emissions, PR and communication support, brand development, and creation of custom direct-trade ecosystems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some companies have also begun participating in TYPICA\u2019s Okagesama no Mori afforestation project and setting concrete strategies and numerical targets related to direct trade and sustainable sourcing. These initiatives reflect a shared awareness of the issues surrounding volatile futures markets, and together with these companies, TYPICA aims to establish a \u201cnew, ethical, and sustainable global coffee market.\u201d Steady progress is being made toward that goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u25a0 What Becomes Possible Through Direct Trade \u00d7 Coffee Experts \u00d7 a Tech Startup<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to these developments, TYPICA decided to further expand the partner program by bringing together coffee experts with diverse backgrounds to work as one team with participating companies.
