Known for its fast and in-depth reporting, the digital edition covers business and trend news in the fashion and beauty sectors.

The article introduces TYPICA’s first long-term fixed-price direct trade project, signed on March 26 at the Japan-Brazil Economic Forum in the presence of both countries’ leaders.

It notes the participation of Doutor Coffee, ACAUA, and Fertinutri. It also reports that under the project, Doutor plans to source up to 1,000 tons annually, around 10% of the company’s annual green coffee volume, over a maximum period of 10 years. The article touches on structural issues behind the continued rise in international green coffee prices, which have reached all-time highs. The article includes the following statement from TYPICA:

“Coffee production and trade is a highly complex market shaped by differences in business customs, religion, and culture across countries and regions. Simply building an online platform isn’t enough. In this context, securing a strong commitment from Doutor Coffee is a major step forward. For example, having clearly defined terms, such as ‘this volume over this time period,’ helps demonstrate to producers that there is stable demand. We believe this is a highly meaningful step.”

TYPICA will continue working to transform the coffee industry into a more sustainable structure and to build relationships of value between producers and buyers through its innovative long-term fixed-price direct trade model.

The full article (Japanese only) can be viewed at the following link:

TYPICA Creates New Market in Coffee Industry Through Long-Term, Fixed-Price Trade, Doutor Joins

{"news%e7%94%a8":
