{"id":11025,"date":"2023-04-06T13:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-04-06T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/global.typica.jp\/?post_type=news&#038;p=11025"},"modified":"2024-08-07T15:02:45","modified_gmt":"2024-08-07T06:02:45","slug":"20230406","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/typica.coffee\/en\/news\/20230406\/","title":{"rendered":"TYPICA joins Japanese govt. start-up support initiative"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Japan\u2019s industry ministry has named TYPICA, along with 49 other domestic ventures, for its start-up support program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.j-startup.go.jp\/en\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/typica.jp\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/0b99ff84b842ffd813b653acfd245552-1200x673.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12606\" width=\"450\" height=\"252\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ministry launched the J-Startup program in June 2018. It aims to support global success of startups with innovative technology and business models. The ministry makes the nominations based on recommendations from well-established venture capitalists and outside experts, such as business development managers at major firms. Under the program, the ministry, along with a private-sector coalition of J-Startup Supporters, provide intensive support to a select group of start-ups. The initiative is run jointly by the industry ministry, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), and New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). Over the years, J-Startup has facilitated startups\u2019 participation in major trade shows in Japan and abroad, supported research and development, helped them adapt to regulatory reforms, and enabled them to gain broader bidding opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.j-startup.go.jp\/en\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/typica.jp\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/JS_logo_01.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12607\" width=\"311\" height=\"311\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year marks the fourth cycle of J-Startup.
